Flourishing Learning Network
About us
Flourishing grew from a concern: what happens when a child is struggling and the support around them does not quite fit what they need?
Conversations brought together people with experience in education, SEND, social care, community work and family life. We saw how trusted relationships and meaningful opportunities could help confidence and curiosity return.
Our purpose
We aim to support the education, development and wellbeing of children and young people facing barriers to learning and community participation, and to help relieve isolation through accessible experiences and relationships.
Our work is beginning with community connection. As resources and experience grow, we hope to widen activities and develop our Sidekicks programme.
Listening as we grow
Children, young people and families will help shape what Flourishing becomes. Our early activities will help us understand what feels useful, enjoyable and manageable.
Our trustees
Jane, Alexandra, Emma, Hazel, Victoria, Colette and Max bring professional and lived experience from different parts of children’s lives.
Our stage of development
The Flourishing Learning Network is currently being established as a charitable organisation. This website does not claim registered charity status.
